PROJECT FOCUS AND OBJECTIVES
The GREENET project aims to promote a just and green transition in the industry, energy, and transport sectors. Specifically, the project intends to strengthen capacities of cross-sectoral social partners in the sectors of industry, energy and transport and impact European social dialogue to ensure that the transition to carbon neutrality in the European Union under the risk posed by war to energy security and COVID19 are socially fair and affordable for all European citizens and workers.
Specific Objectives:
Analysing the impact of the green transition policies and REPowerEU on employment and working conditions of the workforce (through research and trends report);
Adapting collective bargaining to green dialogue of sectoral and cross-sectoral social partners to support the most vulnerable actors (through seminars and co-creation workshops);
Creating and elaborating the new strategic framework for action at national and European level to prepare employers, training institutions and workforce for implementation of green deal relevant strategies (policy recommendations and guidelines).
